Greetings from the Department of English!

The Department of English warmly invites faculty members and students to contribute chapter proposals to the forthcoming edited volume, Reconfiguring Literary Voices: Texts, Characters, Adaptations, and Transformations Across Time.

The volume seeks to explore how literary texts, characters, and narratives are reinterpreted and transformed across time through rewriting, retelling, adaptation, translation, and changing critical perspectives. It welcomes original research, engaging with diverse literary traditions, cultural contexts, and contemporary concerns, including feminist rewritings, indigenous and marginalised voices, regional literature, and reinterpretations of canonical texts.

Acceptance Notification: 11th November 2026
Full Chapter Submission: 30th November 2026
Publication: January 2027
