Tetso Student Council

The Tetso Student Council is a key representative body within the college, consisting of elected members from each of the 14 departments. Each department appoints two representatives: a Department Representative (DR) and an Assistant Department Representative (ADR). The council is led by five executive members—President, Vice President, General Secretary, Assistant General Secretary, and Finance Secretary—who oversee the council’s initiatives. Additionally, faculty advisors play a crucial role in offering guidance and ensuring that the council’s activities align with the college’s core values and institutional goals.

The Tetso Student Council exemplifies leadership, academic excellence, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of conduct. Council members are known for their involvement in both academic and extracurricular activities, serving as role models for other students. Their dedication reflects the college’s mission “To empower people towards life-long excellence” and their commitment to striving for excellence.

The Student Council’s objectives are centered around representing student interests, nurturing better communication between students and faculty, and organizing a wide range of events that enrich the cultural, academic, and social life of the campus. Through their proactive engagement, council members contribute significantly to a dynamic and collaborative campus atmosphere, inspiring other students to engage and contribute meaningfully to the Tetso community. This reflects the college’s vision “To create a positive impact in the world” through empowerment, leadership and collective involvement.
