About This Course

The MA in the Department of History at Tetso College is a postgraduate programme that offers a comprehensive study of historical events, ideas, and institutions across time and space ranging from ancient times to the medieval, modern and regional theme. It shall equip students with critical thinking, research skills, and an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the past through the lenses of History. The course also prepares graduates for careers in teaching, research, civil services, heritage management, and related fields, while fostering a deeper appreciation of historical processes and their relevance to contemporary issues.
