The Institution Industry Cell (IIC), also referred to as the Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC), is a strategic initiative mandated by bodies like AICTE, UGC, and NAAC in affiliated colleges to bridge the gap between academic institutions and industry. Its primary objective is to facilitate mutual cooperation between the two sectors to ensure the employability, skill development, and real-world preparedness of students. For colleges like Tetso College, the IIC aligns with the broader national goals of enhancing industry collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship in higher education.

  • Promote interaction between faculty and industry through joint research, consultancy, and industrial visits.
  • Facilitate student internships, live projects, and industrial training to improve practical knowledge and job-readiness.
  • Organize guest lectures, workshops, and seminars by industry professionals to supplement academic learning.
  • Establish Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with industries to ensure long-term partnerships and structured engagement.
  • Identify current industry trends and skill requirements to inform curriculum enrichment.
  • Provide career guidance and placement support by networking with industry partners.
  • Encourage entrepreneurship and innovation by connecting students with startup mentors and incubators.
  • Invite industries for campus recruitment and project evaluations.
  • Facilitate industrial research projects and consultancy work for faculty and students.
