About The Event

Every culture has a voice. But what happens when those voices are left untranslated? 🏔️✨

For generations, the deepest stories of Northeast India have been carried in memory, song, and silence. In a rapidly changing world, the risk of losing this indigenous wisdom to time is real.

That is why our dedicated faculty at the Department of English & Linguistics have stepped in as guides to preserve this heritage.

We are happy to announce the official launch of NBUNG—an Anthology of Indigenous Poetry from Northeast India with English Translation. Two of our esteemed faculty members will be officially releasing this powerful collection, bridging the gap between ancestral roots and global readers.

You are warmly invited to honor our past, celebrate our literature, and witness a milestone in academic excellence. Don't miss it!

Join the legacy. Celebrate our voices.
