About The Special Guest
Smt. Adela Moa serves as the Director of the Department of Art & Culture, Government of Nagaland. A distinguished cultural administrator, she has played a pivotal role in preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Nagaland. As the head of the Department, she oversees the cultural programming of the Hornbill Festival, the State's premier cultural event, showcasing the diverse traditions of the Naga tribes.
She has spearheaded several initiatives supporting indigenous heritage, local artisans, performing artists, and literary development, including archaeological exhibitions, state-backed publications such as the Anglo-Yimkhiung Dictionary, book fairs for local authors, and the establishment of the Naga Indigenous Inn cum Learning Centre. She also extended valuable support to Tetso College in establishing a mini exhibition of Naga artefacts, reflecting her commitment to cultural education and heritage preservation. Through her visionary leadership, Smt. Adela Moa continues to make significant contributions to the promotion and preservation of Nagaland's indigenous heritage.
