About The Event

Dear UG Students,

Greetings from the Tetso Student Council.

This is to inform you that Salvete: Freshers' Day 2026 will be held on 15th July 2026. The programme is being organized to formally welcome the incoming first-semester students into the college community and will comprise both formal and informal sessions.

As part of the celebrations, Mr. & Miss Freshers Contest will be conducted exclusively for first-semester students. The titles to be awarded are:

• Mr. Freshers
• Miss Freshers
• Mr. Congeniality
• Miss Congeniality
• Mr./Miss Multimedia
• Best Ethnic Wear (Male)
• Best Ethnic Wear (Female)

Attractive prizes will be awarded to the winners. Additionally, the recipients of the Mr. Freshers and Mr. Congeniality titles will receive direct entry to Mr. Chümoukedima, while the recipients of the Miss Freshers and Miss Congeniality titles will receive direct entry to Miss Dimapur.

Applications are invited for the following (First-Semester Students only): 

• One student to deliver the Freshers' Address on behalf of the incoming batch during the formal session.
• Participants for the Mr. & Miss Freshers Contest.

Please Note: Each student is permitted to participate in one event/category only. The deadline for submitting applications is 28th June 2026 at 8:00 PM. 

Students interested in participating are requested to submit their applications through the Google Form provided in the email.

We encourage enthusiastic participation and look forward to making Salvete 2026 a memorable and meaningful occasion for all.
